More than 30 years ago, Hervé founded Omni Translating after working on an LNG facility in Algeria with Fluor Corporation. At the time, his objective was to create a firm specializing in translation for the engineering sector. During the 1980’s energy crisis, Hervé’s vision allowed him to spearhead the creation of a highly-efficient, robust, turnkey production firm focusing on a more diversified client base, and in 1986, Omni Intercommunications was established. Hervé’s expertise in strategic management and best practices has guided Omni to become a leader in translation and localization. He has spent most of his professional career developing strategies that conform to the ever-changing global marketplace. Hervé has been instrumental in engineering Omni’s infrastructure, which has allowed it to gain a distinctive advantage in the area of translation and localization.
Hervé has an MS in Organic Chemistry from his native city of Lyon, France, as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston, Texas. He shares his time between Houston and Austin, with as much traveling as possible to the old continent, whether for business or leisure. He enjoys computer programming, wine collecting (and drinking), and is an avid home automation enthusiast.Back
