Co-Founder & President
More than 30 years ago, Hervé founded Omni Translating after working on an LNG facility in Algeria with Fluor Corporation. At the time, his objective was to create a firm specializing in translation for the engineering sector. During the 1980’s energy crisis, Hervé’s vision allowed him to spearhead the creation of a highly-efficient, robust, turnkey production firm focusing on a more diversified client base, and in 1986, Omni Intercommunications was established. Hervé’s expertise in strategic management and best practices has guided Omni to become a leader in translation and localization. He has spent most of his professional career developing strategies that conform to the ever-changing global marketplace. Hervé has been instrumental in engineering Omni’s infrastructure, which has allowed it to gain a distinctive advantage in the area of translation and localization.
Hervé has an MS in Organic Chemistry from his native city of Lyon, France, as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston, Texas. He shares his time between Houston and Austin, with as much traveling as possible to the old continent, whether for business or leisure. He enjoys computer programming, wine collecting (and drinking), and is an avid home automation enthusiast.

Cultivating positive working relationships with all our clients is the cornerstone of Omni’s client outreach efforts. David is the friendly voice of the company when cultivating partnerships and identifying new markets. Previously, David was responsible for vendor management, searching for qualified contractors, vetting them through best-practice procedures, and verifying they have satisfied all of Omni’s stringent requirements. His responsibilities also included managing translation memories and archived projects. His attention to detail, professionalism, and expertise were key to the delivery of maximum leverage and consistency to Omni’s clients, regardless of project scope or magnitude.
Listening to his clients’ needs firsthand places him today in the perfect position to outline the profile of the professional linguists and subject matter experts Omni will need to stay ahead of projected needs. Although he is now removed from the actual search, David remains active in building solid human resources for the highly-technical and turnkey projects Omni is engaged in.
David has obtained a degree in Communications from Texas Tech University. While away from the office, he enjoys time with his boxer, Sammy, as well as trivia, movies, and golf. David’s goal is to travel the world to meet his recruits!
